New Jersey Birth Defects Data and Statistics
The NJ BDR uses its data to conduct thorough and complete epidemiologic surveys and to plan for and inform policy in New Jersey. In addition, New Jersey contributes to the CDC’s National Birth Defects Prevention Network annual publication of the special issue of Birth Defects Research Part A. This annual report includes state-specific data on 45 selected birth defects, and journal articles on birth defects surveillance and epidemiology.
